FCS Comms Installer is the industry event for the installers of comms equipment into vehicles and all associated manufacturers, distributors, customers and end-users. The event provides a high value seminar and networking opportunity which is invaluable to anyone involved with the highly competitive installations sector.

 

Comms Installer 2010 is set to investigate:-

  • New Technology and how it is affecting installation
  • The future for the installation sector
  • The value of skill diversification

Chaired by Mel Brown of Executive Installations, the event will start at 09.30 and run through to 13.30 when lunch will be provided.

 

Attendance of Comms Installer 10 is free of charge to all FCS or FITAS members. A nominal charge of £25 plus vat will be made to non-members to cover the cost of lunch and refreshments.

FCS Comms Installer 2009 is the annual event for the mobile equipment install sector and took place on the 21st May 2009 at the Barcelo Hotel in Daventry.

 

 

This unique event bought together interested parties from across the whole industry including:


· Manufacturers and distributors of mobile phones, and accessories
· Manufacturers and users of business radio equipment including blue light and public transport,
· Manufacturers of telemetry and satnav equipment
· Representatives from the motor industry including manufacturers and fleet operators
· Installers (of all sizes) of all of the above

 

and provided an excellent opportunity for networking and business with so many companies involved in the install sector all under one roof.

 

The Event was chaired by Mel Brown of Executive Installations and featured two seminar sessions, the first looking at the new FCS Installer Training & Accreditation Scheme (FITAS) and the second dealing with 'Future Technologies'.

Comms Installer 08


The FCS Mobile Equipment Installers Group held its annual "Comms Installer" event, on Wednesday 14th May at the Paramount Daventry Hotel. The event, the convention for the mobile equipment installer community in the UK and the flagship event for the installation sector, was attended by installers, fleet operators, suppliers of mobile phones, radios, telemetry, satnav and accessories.

The day was chaired by Chris Chance, Managing Director of Nemesis GB, who highlighted this year's main theme of looking to and preparing for the future and introduced a programme of speakers.
