Communications Provider of the Year Award 2010

South West Communications Group Ltd triumph in the 2010 FCS Communications Provider of the Year Award

FCS is pleased to announce South West Communications Group Ltd as the winner of the Communications Provider of the Year Award 2010.

Harry Langley, Managing Director of South West Communications Group received the award from Hetti Barkworth-Nanton, Commercial Director of award sponsor Openreach, and said “This is the first time we have won an award from the Federation of Communication Services and we are delighted that our project at North Bristol NHS Trust caught the judges’ attention. It is a true honour to be named Communications Provider of the Year and bears testament to all the hard work our staff and partners have put into this unique solution.

Dave Dadds of DRD Communications and chairman of the award judging panel commented “Well done to Harry and his team at South West Communications. This year we had a higher standard of entry than ever before across a wider sector of products and services, it certainly made the judges work hard in deciding the winners.”

A runner-up award was made to Timico Ltd

Now entering its 2nd year as the FCS Communications Provider of the Year Award, this award is a combination of two previous awards made by the FCS. They were the Service Provider of the Year Award and the VoIP Solution of the Year Award.

In the modern, increasingly converged marketplace the FCS Communications Provider of the Year Award looks to acknowledge and showcase the companies who have made the biggest contribution to the promotion of innovation and excellence in telephony service provision.

Sponsored by Openreach, the award was open to all businesses delivering telephony products and services including fixed, mobile and IP based services as well as those providing solutions which support communications providers in the delivery of their services.
