The Radiocommunications Quality Council - RQC

The Radiocommunications Quality Council (RQC) is a committee within the FCS established to set up procedures that seek continuous improvement in the quality of the UK radiocommunications industry’s services offered by manufacturers, network operators, service providers, short-term hire suppliers, retailers, dealers, installers, maintenance organisations and certification bodies.

The RQC has developed and published,
as part of a 9k+scheme, Industry Linked Supplements (ILS) for use within industry
and other accreditation schemes
- in particular ISO 9000

RQC also oversees the Silver Award Scheme which started in 2004 as a low cost accreditation scheme for companies who do not have ISO certification
