The Parliament & Internet Conference

You are invited to this year’s Parliament & Internet Conference, taking place on Tuesday 21st November. The Conference, now in its twelfth year, will be hosted by Nigel Huddleston MP. It brings together leading figures from Government, Parliament, academia and industry to discuss and debate the most pressing policy issues facing the internet.

Time: Sessions run from 9.00am to 5.00pm

This year's programme will include high profile keynote speeches, panel debates with senior parliamentarians and industry figures, networking lunch and interactive presentations.
 
The following individuals have been invited to participate in this year's P&I Conference:

  • Rt Hon Matt Hancock MP, Minister of State for Digital 
  • Rt Hon Ben Wallace MP, Minister of State for Security
  • Rt Hon Liam Byrne MP, Shadow Digital Minister
  • Ciaran Martin, Chief Executive of the National Cyber Security Centre

The Conference will cover a range of policy matters, including the cyber threats to the critical national infrastructure, the connectivity challenges ahead (including fibre rollout and future 5G deployment), as well as the proposed Digital Charter. We’ll keep you updated as the agenda firms up.
