FCS launches new CP Council

Posted on 16/01/2017

The FCS Board is looking to set up a new strategy group for fixed and mobile service providers:  something that works at a high level, considering the over-arching policy issues being generated by Government departments and Regulators (and, until we have disentangled ourselves from Europe, the European Parliament and Commission). The overall aim of the group would be to help establish and maintain a favourable operating environment for B2B communication providers and to help promote the sector.

The new “CP Council” will run in addition to our long-established  fixed service providers’ regular monthly meetings.  These will continue, as always, to provide updates and information exchanges on the day to day issues that affect the way you run your business, along with the latest on regulatory consultations and changes.

We would like to invite those of you who are interested in joining this CP Council to come along to an inaugural meeting on the afternoon of Monday 13 March in London to help devise the objectives and terms of reference for the group.  Membership of the group is open to any current FCS member company.  We’d like the initial meeting to be face to face, after that we envisage members will meet perhaps four times a year, via conference call if that is the most convenient.

If this is of interest or you would like more information please contact me directly.

I look forward to hearing from you.
