Hear directly from Openreach on the upcoming FTTP for Business Consultation

Posted on 18/06/2019

We are pleased to announce that Openreach have offered to run a call for FCS members to outline and discuss the thinking on providing an FTTP product that is geared towards the business market.

A consultation is due at the end of this month: we understand Openreach are considering an offering that will operate on a different technology to the consumer product (XGS-PON v GPON) allowing symmetric 500mbps and 1Gps services. Up for discussion are QoS, out of hours and other business requirements.

The call is scheduled for 1 July at 10:00-11:00.

If you would like to join it, please reply to me and I will forward you the Openreach invitation.
