SUMMARY:FCS Telecoms Regulatory Training
DESCRIPTION:We regularly receive queries about industry regulation and how to comply. Although regulation can be straight forward to implement\, knowing where to look for guidance and how the rules apply specifically to your business can be confusing. \nTherefore\, we are delighted to be hosting a one day regulatory course which has been designed especially to provide a simple overview covering the regulatory regime\, the role of Ofcom and practical advice on how to comply with the rules. \nWhat to expect…\nThe content is focused on telecoms specific regulation and includes detailed information on the following areas: \n\nSales and customer sign-up\nSwitching and porting\nCustomer contracts\nBilling\nCodes of practice\nAccess to emergency services\n\nThe training will be delivered by industry consultant Michael Eagle. \nWho should attend… \nThe course is suitable for companies who are new to the industry\, new recruits to established providers or those who want reassurance that they are complying fully with their obligations. It has been specifically designed to focus on those parts of the regulation which apply to reseller CPs.\nBooking your place…\nThis training course has been successfully delivered for several years as a one day face to face session. However\, to reflect the current COVID situation\, we are now running it as an online course\, which will be delivered over two morning sessions of approx. 3 hours each.\nThe proposed dates for the first two courses are\nMay – Wednesday 26th and Thursday 27th- This course date is now full. Please contact fcs@fcs.org.uk to be placed on the waitlist.\nJune – Wednesday 23rd and Thursday 24th- Spaces are available!\nThe price per delegate is £200 VAT for FCS members and £250 VAT for non-members.\nWe are aware that there are some significant regulation changes due to come into force in December of this year and the course will highlight the changes.\nTo register your place please click HERE.\nIf you would like any further information please email fcs@fcs.org.uk.
