FCS1362 is the UK Code of Practice for the installation of mobile radio and related ancillary equipment in land-based vehicles. It formed the core of and subsequently replaced the NAPFM Installation Guide for blue- light fleets.

FCS1362 is also referenced in public sector procurement documents (E.g. RM6382 & 6244).

FCS1362 is recognised by Industry as the ‘de facto’ standard for vehicle installation in the UK and is widely used elsewhere in the world.
