Member Briefing: December CSP Meeting – 3 December 2025 at 2pm

Focus on WLR Price rises and PSTN withdrawal
The December CSP Meeting will be held on Tuesday 3rd December at 2pm. Juliette Scott from Openreach will be with us to answer any of your questions about the recently
announced 2026 price increases to WLR linked to the PSTN closure and the associated special offers to aid migration to fibre. The full Openreach briefing is attached.

Members are encouraged to read the briefing in full and discuss the potential significant commercial impact on continued use of WLR with wholesalers, if used, as there could be a significant and increasing commercial and customer impact if you continue to have WLR/ISDN lines next year. The briefing also covers what will happen if there are any lines operational after the PSTN switch-off date of 31 January 2027.

Previously, some members have raised issues with SOGEA not being available across the country and we have raised these concerns with Openreach. They believe that all wholesalers are now able to supply the product in all geographies. If you are having any difficulties getting SOGEA, please let us know.

Agenda:

  1. Welcome and Introductions
  2. WLR Withdrawal – Juliette Scott, Callum Malloy Openreach
  3. Switching for Business – Steve Kerr
  4. Regulatory Update – Stef Norman, Tony Reeder
  5. Feedback from CSP+ – All
  6. AoB

Please make sure you join this important session to ensure you have all the latest information on WLR withdrawal.

Please contact fcs@fcs.org.uk if you have any questions about the briefing.
