The Federation of Communication Services is delighted to announce that Megan Corcoran will become its next Chair.

Megan, an existing board member of FCS, co-chair of the CP Only SMF and the Gaining Provider Led Business Steering Group for Industry, as well as Regulatory Affairs and Industry Engagement Manager at Gamma Communications, brings a wealth of experience that will be invaluable to members of FCS.

FCS would like to take this opportunity to thank outgoing FCS Chair, David Alldritt, for the hugely positive impact he has had on furthering the aims of FCS during his tenure. David reflected on his time as Chair and emphasised the importance of the new appointment to FCS members, saying,

“I am very fortunate to have been trusted to Chair FCS for the past four years.  Our industry continues to shift and evolve at a rapid pace, and through our engagement with Government, Ofcom, OTA, Openreach and other key stakeholders, we have ensured that the needs of our members, who are mostly SMEs, have been taken into consideration within the policy and regulatory landscape.  FCS is also continuing to evolve significantly in how we provide valuable support and considerable expertise directly to our members.

“I’m delighted that the FCS board has elected Megan Corcoran to be our new Chair.  She is tremendously well-known and respected throughout the industry and has served on the FCS board for the past 8 years.  I’m certain that she will do a great job of leading FCS into the future, and will take care of our members’ interests at every turn.”

Megan is looking forward to stepping into the role with immediate effect, adding,

“I am honoured to take on the role of Chair for FCS. My long history of involvement with the organisation has reinforced my belief that smaller providers matter and that they deserve a strong voice. Throughout my career, I have consistently championed the needs of smaller providers and, in particular, the business market, ensuring they are fully considered in key industry decisions.

“This is a pivotal moment for the communications sector, and FCS remains firmly committed to delivering even greater value to its members. We will continue to strengthen relationships across key stakeholders and enhance the support and benefits available to all constituencies within the FCS membership.”
