The Federation of Communication Services is delighted to welcome our new Chair, Megan Corcoran, plus three new board members, further increasing the expertise and experience of the Directors.
FCS would like to take this opportunity to thank outgoing FCS Chair, David Alldritt, for the hugely positive impact he has had on furthering the aims of FCS during his tenure. David reflected on his time as Chair and emphasised the importance of the new appointment to FCS members, saying,
āI am very fortunate to have been trusted to Chair FCS for the past four years.Ā Our industry continues to shift and evolve at a rapid pace, and through our engagement with Government, Ofcom, OTA, Openreach and other key stakeholders, we have ensured that the needs of our members, who are mostly SMEs, have been taken into consideration within the policy and regulatory landscape.Ā FCS is also continuing to evolve significantly in how we provide valuable support and considerable expertise directly to our members.
āIām delighted that the FCS board has elected Megan Corcoran to be our new Chair.Ā She is tremendously well-known and respected throughout the industry and has served on the FCS board for the past 8 years.Ā Iām certain that she will do a great job of leading FCS into the future, and will take care of our membersā interests at every turn.āĀ
Megan CorcoranĀ is Regulatory Affairs and Industry Engagement Manager at Gamma Communications.
Megan, an existing board member of FCS, co-chair of the CP Only SMF and the Gaining Provider Led Business Steering Group for Industry, as well as Regulatory Affairs and Industry Engagement Manager at Gamma Communications, brings a wealth of experience that will be invaluable to members of FCS.
With a career which has facilitated her concentrated operational and regulatory knowledge of the communications industry, Megan started as a trainee cad technician in the design and engineering department for a fibre design and manufacturing company in the late 1990s. In 2003, she moved to Sprint Ltd TA SCS, a specialist business communications provider. Within four years, she was promoted to Operations Director at just 27 years old, from which role she saw SCS through substantial growth until its eventual sale in 2020.
Megan brings deep operational understanding along with a passion for championing the smaller communication provider, the business market, the rights of the end consumer and the careers of women in the telecoms industry.
Megan has always been highly active within a variety of industry fora, and as a member of FCS since 2005 and Co-Chair of CSP (formerly FSP) from 2012-2020, has driven many changes to the benefit of the industry. She has represented the smaller CP and the business market in numerous consultations and developments and is the voice of the small provider at fixed line industry fora.
Megan is looking forward to stepping into the role with immediate effect, adding,
āI am honoured to take on the role of Chair for FCS. My long history of involvement with the organisation has reinforced my belief that smaller providers matter and that they deserve a strong voice. Throughout my career, I have consistently championed the needs of smaller providers and, in particular, the business market, ensuring they are fully considered in key industry decisions.
āThis is a pivotal moment for the communications sector, and FCS remains firmly committed to delivering even greater value to its members. We will continue to strengthen relationships across key stakeholders and enhance the support and benefits available to all constituencies within the FCS membership.ā
Paul Anslow, Triangle CEO, Martin White, Giacom All-IP Lead and Robert Compton, engineer with over 40 years of radio communications expertise, joined the board on 12th January 2026.
FCS Chair, David Alldritt, emphasised the importance of the appointments to FCS members, saying,
āIām delighted that we are able to welcome such high-calibre new directors to the FCS board.Ā They bring a wealth of industry experience and currency to support the management of FCS, and those attributes are essential if we are to remain relevant and effective in the work we do for our members. I’m sure that they will bring fresh perspectives along with their expertise, and the board is grateful to them for their willingness to volunteer even more of their time and energy in their new roles.āĀ

Paul Anslow is the CEO of Triangle Networks, an independent ISP specialising in full-fibre demand building, working in collaboration with the property sector and MSP community.
Paul has been an active member of the FCS for over a decade, during which time, he has been involved with initiatives supporting improvements to the delivery of voice and data connectivity, particularly for SME businesses in the UK.
Paulās main areas of activity include dial-through fraud prevention best practices and later on, as a key influencer for alternative network services, where Triangle launched CityFibreās first āGigabit Cityā (Bristol) in early 2016.
With a wealth of experience in building community-led connectivity demand and his influential presence in the sector, Paul now joins FCS in a more formal role, as a Director to further support the SME community and the providers supporting them.

Martin White has been with Giacom for 14 years and in that time has had roles in Billing, Provisioning, Procurement and currently within Product as All-IP & Inbound Product Manager.
As All-IP Product Manager, Martin is Giacomās lead for All-IP, representing Giacom in numerous Advisory Boards, including both the Telecare and Fire & Alarm Security Board and regularly takes part in presenting at Industry Events both virtually and in person as an industry expert for All-IP.
Martinās role can vary from dealing with Product enhancements to supporting Giacomās Partner base to win at All-IP, whilst regularly updating Giacomās All-IP documentation to further support the move to All-IP.
Martin has also been a CSP Co-Chair for the FCS since being appointed in 2022.
Outside of work Martin is a Brown Belt in Traditional Jujitsu and Co-Editor forĀ Rock Out StandĀ OutĀ whoĀ not only promote the latest in rock and heavy metal but also promote Mental Health Awareness.

Robert Compton is a highly experienced Electronic and Electrical Engineer with over 40 yearsā experience across radio communications, vehicle electrical systems, reliability engineering, and project management.
Working with vehicle-based systems for over 25 years, primarily emergency services, Robert carried out design and installation of overt and covert communications equipment.
With proven expertise working in safety-critical and harsh environments including emergency services, motorsport, aviation support, and defence-related facilities, Robert is recognised for technical leadership, regulatory compliance expertise, and a āright first timeā engineering ethos.
Robert has been an FCS member for over 20 years, sitting on the FCS1362 committee for about 15 years, and the FITAS committee since its inception.
